Site Manager - Content Management System

Introduction
Site Manager is a collection of web based applications for use as a sophisticated company website or intranet. It has the ability to allow individuals with the appropriate access levels to conduct regular updates and manage the site from a dedicated administration area.

Each application has been developed by Sound Idea Digital with specific attention to detail, robustness, and security. They are fully customisable to suit a company’s exact requirements. However, the standard version is also available which is able to effectively incorporate your company’s appropriate branding and corporate identity.

Available Applications:

Site Manager and Modules
This application provides the website's core functionality. Used, as a company’s dashboard; news, announcements and items of interest will be visible here. The system allows specific people the ability to log on and update the site content. Updating the site content is as simple as using a word-processor and requires no advanced understanding of HTML or its concepts. The content of the site can also be emailed to specified groups of people within the company on a regular basis.

Client Database
This will supply the ability to add / delete entries from your existing client database. These entries need to be maintained for email mailing list purposes on the website.

Mass e-Mailer
The mass mailer will email tagged clients in your client database with the new website content, as well as specific information you would like to send out.

Advertisement System/ Engine
The advertisement system will allow the website administration to add / delete banner advertisements. The advertisements can be keyed to run over a certain period of time. Website administration will be able to see reports based on views and clicks of the banner advertisements.

Discussion Forum
A discussion forum system provides an online meeting place for users to discuss ideas, and comment on issues brought forward by their colleagues. The discussion forum is also extensible, allowing it to be placed in other applications where discussion structures are needed. This extensible functionality is implemented in the Website Content application where users are able to post comments on any of the articles listed there. The discussion forum contains a unique feature, which allows it to have more than one forum running at a time. Using this feature, a multitude of private discussions and brainstorming sessions can take place between specific groups of registered users in the system.

Other modules
Sound Idea has developed a range of other modules, including a Classified Ads System, Competition System, Shopping Cart, and Events Calendar etc.
