Intranets have become an essential for companies of all sizes. After all, an Intranet is literally an ongoing stream of corporate communication right on the working desktop of the staff who use it.

At Sound Idea we take the development of our Intranets very seriously. The systems and requirements of each company are unique and therefore may need a completely different set of features and media to support that unique communication. We do not believe in the “copper-plate software” methodology. As an alternative we have laid the groundwork of a Sharepoint Intranet System with astounding synergistic and communicative possibilities. Based on the systems and internal communication needs of your company we can “activate” any of the features your company will use. The remaining applications will remain dormant but may be activated if your company ever came to a point where it may be needed.

The Sound Idea Sharepoint Intranet System evolves with the Company. As your communication needs grow, it will grow. This can finally happen without the frustrating process of redeveloping the Intranet every three years whenever the old one has become redundant.

This modular system is carried over just as well into the “front-end” or “dashboard” area of the Intranet and can be designed and applied to company specifications and evolve just as the system behind it will.

Some of our Sharepoint Intranet Features Include:

• Online Project Tracking to Line Managers and Password protection fro level-relevant information
• General Document or “cloud storage” for relevant policies and procedures or general stationery such as company letterheads and copper-plate forms.
• Online personal staff tracking such as leave information and additional data (like birthdays) with a direct line to manager (i.e. online leave approval)
• Online blogs, sounding boards or forums, project tracking areas with pre-defined points of responsibility.  (Only staff relevant to a specific project will see their information)
